Its shape resembles that of a half-damru (Ardha-Damru). The shape of this lota is such that when it falls, it produces a louder sound, which is why in many parts of India it is called the ‘Ghanti Lota’ (Bell Lota).

Fill it with water during worship and use it for Rudraksha rituals, chanting mantras, offering arghya, or performing achaman. Every morning, fill this lota with fresh water and drink from it. On special occasions, use it for worship or offering (arghya) as well.
पूजा में जल भर कर रुद्राक्ष, मंत्रोच्चार, अर्घ्य, आँचमन आदि में प्रयोग करें। रोजाना प्रातः इस लोटे में ताजे जल को भरकर पिएं। विशेष अवसरों पर इसे पूजा या अर्घ्य में भी प्रयोग करें। |
