Brass, an alloy comprising pure copper and zinc in a ratio of 2:1, has long been cherished for its exquisite beauty and remarkable health properties. Within the realm of brass utensils, there are two distinct types: Kakatundi Brass and Ritika Brass, each with its own unique characteristics and implications for our well-being.

Kakatundi brass, unfortunately, is crafted from a blend of adulterated copper, zinc, aluminium, and lead. Utensils made from this type of brass pose potential health hazards, as they can introduce harmful substances into our food and adversely affect our well-being.
