दक्षिणावर्ती शंख कारण और उपचार
दक्षिणावर्ती शंख को लक्ष्मी शंख के नाम से भी जाना जाता है, क्योंकि वे देवी लक्ष्मी से जुड़े हुए हैं| दिवाली के दिन लक्ष्मी-गणेश की पूजा करने के पश्चता दक्षिणावर्ती शंख से पूजा करने के बाद, अगर रात में उसमें स्वच्छ जल भरकर रखा जाए और फिर अगले दिन उस जल से छिड़काव किया जाए तो यह घर के वातावरण में सकारात्मकता लाता है इसे नियमित रूप से पूजा-अराधना करने के पश्चात भी, इसी तरह इस्तेमाल किया जा सकता है। जो बच्चे पढ़ाई पर ध्यान केंद्रित नहीं कर पाते हैं, वे रात भर दक्षिणावर्ती शंख में रखा स्वच्छ जल भरकर सुबह पी सकते हैं। इससे उन्हें अपनी पढ़ाई पर ध्यान केंद्रित करने में मदद मिलेगी और जो व्यक्ति उच्च रक्तचाप, मधुमेह से पीड़ित हैं, वे भी दक्षिणावर्ती शंख में रखे जल का पान कर सकते है इससे उनके उपचार प्रक्रिया में मदद मिलेगी| किसी शुभ मुहूर्त में दक्षिणावर्ती शंख का गंगाजल, गोघृत, कच्चा दूध, शहद, गुड़ आदि से अभिषेक कर अपने पूजा स्थल पर लाल कपड़े के आसन पर रख दें, इससे लक्ष्मी का स्थायी वास बना रहेगा. दक्षिणावर्ती शंख में रखा स्वच्छ जल जहां छिड़काव किया जाता है वहां से हर प्रकार की बुराई का नाश होता है।
