This conch shell is called Moti shankh because of its aliphatic and lustrous like pearl found in oysters inside the sea. Moti conch shell with pearl like luster is a rare conch. It comes under the category of lucky conch shells. Worship of pearl conch removes mental disturbance. The use of this conch brings happiness and peace in the house, there will be happiness and peace, only then prosperity will increase. Pearl conch is also considered to be a heart cure. Place the pearl conch on a white cloth and worship it daily in the worship house with the mantra.

समुद्र के भीतर सीप में पाए जाने वाले मोती के समान स्निग्ध और चमकदार होने के कारण इस शंख को मोती शंख कहा जाता है| मोती जैसी आभा वाला मोती शंख दुर्लभ शंख है। यह सौभाग्यवर्द्धक शंखों की श्रेणी में आता है। मोती शंख का पूजन मानसिक अशांति दूर करता है। इस शंख के उपयोग से घर में सुख और शांति आती है, सुख और शांति होगी तभी समृद्धि बढ़ेगी। मोती शंख हृदय रोगनाशक भी माना गया है। मोती शंख को सफेद कपड़े पर विराजमान करके पूजाघर में  प्रतिदिन इसका पूजन मंत्र से साथ करें।

यदि मोती शंख को कारखाने में स्था‍पित किया जाए तो कारखाने में तेजी से आर्थिक उन्नति होती है। यदि व्यापार में घाटा हो रहा है, दुकान से आय नहीं हो रही हो तो एक मोती शंख दुकान के गल्ले में रखा जाए तो इससे व्यापार में वृद्धि होती है। मोती शंख को घर में स्थापित कर रोज 'ॐ श्री महालक्ष्मै नम:' 11 बार बोलकर 1-1 चावल का दाना शंख में भरते रहें। इस प्रकार 11 दिन तक प्रयोग करें। यह प्रयोग करने से आर्थिक तंगी समाप्त हो जाती है।
